Refund Policy — no fine print.

We built Adtunez to surface real savings in week one. Our refund terms reflect that confidence. This policy covers monthly plans, annual plans, the free trial, overage charges, the AI Add-on, and Custom plan contracts. Effective date: June 2026.

Complete refund terms — every scenario covered.

1. Free Trial

All four plans (Starter, Growth, Enterprise, Custom) include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Because no payment information is collected at signup, there is nothing to refund during the trial period.

  • Ad spend is tracked during the trial but never billed. You'll see a live simulation of what your overage charges would have been — useful for choosing the right plan.
  • The AI Add-on is included free during the trial on all plans to let you evaluate it before committing.
  • If you add a payment method and convert to a paid plan at any point during the trial, the remaining trial days are not carried over as credit — billing begins on the conversion date.
  • If you do not convert by day 14, your account moves to read-only. Data is retained for 90 days. You can convert at any point during read-only and regain full access immediately.
  • One trial per organisation. A second trial attempt from the same company, billing email, or payment fingerprint will be blocked.

2. Monthly Plans — Starter, Growth, Enterprise

Monthly billing renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle. The following terms apply:

  • No refunds on completed billing periods. Once a month has been billed and access provided, that charge is final.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until that date. No partial-month refunds are issued.
  • Overages are never refunded. Overage charges reflect actual, verified ad spend tracked across your connected accounts. They are not estimates.
  • Downgrade mid-cycle: not permitted. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You keep your current plan's features until that date.
  • Upgrade mid-cycle: allowed at any time. The new plan's base price is prorated for the remaining days in the cycle. Spend already tracked carries over toward the new plan's included limit.

Why no monthly refunds? The 14-day free trial exists precisely so you can verify the audit delivers value before your first charge. Most accounts identify their plan's worth in waste found within day one of the trial. We believe that's the right time to evaluate — not after payment.

3. Annual Plans — 14-Day Money-Back Window

Annual billing provides a 20% discount on the base subscription, charged upfront for 12 months. The following refund terms apply specifically to annual plans:

Within 14 days of annual term start

Full refund of the annual base charge. No questions asked. Refund processed within 7 business days to the original payment method. A credit memo is issued against the original invoice.

After 14 days

No refund on the annual base. Access continues through the end of the paid 12-month term. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time — this does not terminate your current term.

  • Overage charges are never refunded, regardless of when you cancel. Monthly overages reflect actual spend tracked and are billed and settled at each month-end.
  • AI Add-on (annual): if billed annually alongside the plan, the same 14-day refund window applies to the add-on charge. After 14 days, no refund on the annual add-on.
  • Mid-term upgrades are allowed at any time. Your unused annual base is credited: credit = (months remaining ÷ 12) × current annual price. The new plan is charged for the remaining term minus the credit. The renewal date does not change.
  • Mid-term downgrades are not permitted. You must wait until your renewal date to switch to a lower plan. The system will show the effective downgrade date as your next renewal.
  • Auto-renewal notices: we send a 60-day advance notice, a 30-day reminder with the estimated renewal amount, and a 7-day final notice with the exact charge. You can cancel auto-renewal at any point before the renewal date.
  • Renewal pricing: your renewed term receives 20% off the then-current list price. If list prices have increased since your original purchase, the renewal uses the new list price — the 60-day notice gives you time to opt out before that charge is made.
  • Failed renewal payment: we retry on day 0, day 3, and day 7. If all retries fail, we offer a fallback to monthly billing at the same plan tier. If monthly billing also fails, the account is suspended.

4. Overage Charges

Overage charges are calculated at the end of each calendar month based on actual, verified ad spend data pulled from your connected Google Ads accounts via read-only OAuth.

  • Overages are never refunded. They are not estimates — they reflect spend that actually ran in your accounts during the billing period.
  • If you believe an overage charge is incorrect (e.g., due to a data ingestion error on our side), contact info@adtunez.com within 30 days of the charge. We will audit the underlying spend data and issue a correction if an error is confirmed.
  • Overage disputes do not pause payment of the contested amount. Confirmed errors are refunded promptly via credit memo.
  • The overage formula is: ceil((total monthly spend − plan included limit) ÷ $10,000) × per-unit rate. Fractional $10k blocks always round up.

5. Custom Plan Refunds

Custom plan pricing, spend limits, overage rates, and contract terms are negotiated individually. Refund terms for Custom plans are governed by the signed contract, which takes precedence over this general policy. The following defaults apply where the contract is silent:

  • Annual Custom contracts: typically no refund. Break-fee clauses may apply to early termination — your account manager will clarify the specific terms in your contract.
  • Cancellation of a Custom annual contract is routed to your account manager and may require review by our legal and finance teams.
  • Auto-renewal on Custom annual contracts: 60-day advance notice is sent to both the billing contact and account owner before any renewal charge.
  • Overages on Custom plans are governed by your negotiated overage rate and are not refundable, consistent with Section 4 above.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email info@adtunez.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [your account email]". Include:

  • Your registered account email address.
  • The invoice number(s) in question (available in your account billing dashboard).
  • The reason for the refund request.

Eligible refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method. A credit memo is issued and emailed to your billing contact. For bank transfer / NEFT payments, refunds are made via the same transfer method to the originating account.

7. GST & Tax on Refunds

For Indian B2B customers where 18% GST is applied to invoices, the refund amount will include the GST component proportional to the refunded base amount. A credit note will be issued in compliance with GST regulations and emailed to the GSTIN on file.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account owners at least 30 days before taking effect. The version in effect on the date of any transaction governs that transaction.
